Mathematical Physics at the University of Milan has seen a very fast change in the last few years. Many novel and more international topics have been developed recently such as Fluid Mechanics, Dispersive Partial Differential equations, Quantum Mechanics, Statistical Mechanics, and Integrable systems. Such topics became the prominent ones in the Mathematical Physics group of the University of Milan. The series of seminar Modern Trends in Mathematical Physics aims to bring together at the University of Milan world renewed experts in the above mentioned files.
